What ELSA Speak is genuinely better at
ELSA does one thing and does it better than we do. If people keep asking you to repeat yourself, ELSA will find the exact sounds responsible and drill them, and no conversation partner — human or otherwise — will give you that level of detail about your own mouth. It is worth using for that. Pronunciation and conversation are separate skills though: you can score well on every phoneme and still freeze when someone asks you an unscripted question, because scoring a sound and choosing your next sentence are not the same problem.
Pick ELSA Speak if: Finding out exactly which English sounds make people ask you to repeat yourself, and drilling them until they stop.
